Staying hydrated is incredibly important and I like to start the day with lemon water, or Hot Golden Elixir which is my favorite drink from The Butcher’s Daughter. I make it at home and the ingredients are easy to find.

Primary habits that have helped me personally are cutting out dairy, taking pre/probiotics, getting more sleep, and getting tested for food intolerances/allergies. Allergy testing commonly involves getting pricked with needles using your back as a canvas; the process is relatively painless and swelling reduced after a day or so. Everyone is different and it’s quite common to develop allergies later on in life as I discovered a mild allergy to shellfish in my early twenties which was particularly devastating.
